A falling branch from a gum tree being professionally trimmed, struck a powerline and caused a power-cut to 2000 homes in North Eastern Suburbs.
Unfortunately, 65 homes in the vicinity suffered significant electrical damage, such as burnt-out switchboards, ruined appliances and faulty air-conditioning units.
