About the Role

As an Electrical Trades Assistant, you’ll work under the guidance of licensed Electricians and Energy Technicians on tasks such as:

  • Electrical service support — assisting with residential electrical repairs, maintenance and installations
  • Switchboard and wiring assistance — helping with upgrades, cable runs and safe isolation
  • Site preparation and clean‑up
  • Transporting materials and equipment
  • Stocktaking and vehicle/workshop maintenance

As an Air Conditioning Trades Assistant, you’ll work under the guidance of licensed HVAC technicians on tasks such as:

  • Supporting Air Conditioning and HVAC service, repairs and installations

We do require applicants to have experience in their chosen field, but Sharpe actively supports your growth, including further training and education. We run structured training in electrical, plumbing, and A/C, and we also hire licensed, experienced tradespeople straight into senior roles.

Our team services Adelaide metro and surrounding suburbs, working from our Thebarton depot.

Yes, a current driver's licence is required for all field-based roles, as most positions include a fitted-out company vehicle.
