It’s an easy phone call to make, but few people do until it’s too late; and as they say ‘waiting until it breaks has costs consequences’!

Our air conditioner tech, Scott was called to an air conditioner service to a property in Prospect. The unit wasn’t running as efficiently as previously and the customer had noticed a rise in their electricity bill.

On first inspection the surrounds of unit was very clean and tidy and the unit seemed in good condition. On a closer look it was revealed (condenser) that the back of the unit was severely choked with dust, dirt and other debris one would not expect in a garage environment.

With the system being essentially ‘clogged’ it runs less efficient, drawing on more power to do the same job. With a thorough clean and service and subsequent testing of the unit was as good as new. This was great news for the customer as they not only have a better running air conditioner they’ve also added years to the lifespan of the unit.
