Sue reached out after noticing her solar system wasn’t performing as it should. She suspected the panels weren’t working effectively and asked us to carry out an inspection and service.
Our Solution
On arrival, our technician quickly diagnosed the problem: the existing 4.2kW Growatt inverter was in fault mode and no longer producing power. We carried out a full system check, including insulation resistance testing, cleaning all 22 panels, and inspecting wiring, racking, and clamps. Everything else was in good condition, meaning the inverter was the only issue.
We supplied and installed a new 4.2kW GoodWe inverter with a 5-year warranty, ensuring Sue’s system would operate reliably into the future. The process included:
- Safe removal of the faulty inverter
- Installation and commissioning of the new unit
- Re-using existing cabling where possible
- Leaving the site clean and tidy after completion
