Because the B20 uses electronic ignition rather than a standing pilot light, it does require a standard 240V power point to operate. In the event of a blackout, the unit will not heat water.
The B20 is compatible with up to four optional Rinnai Water Controllers. These allow you to set the exact temperature (e.g., 42°C for a perfect shower) from inside your bathroom or kitchen.
