Lights ain’t lights: LEDs are best

LEDs also have a typical lifespan of around 15 years. They light up immediately and can be switched on and off frequently without compromising durability or light emission.

LED options exits for all types of lights, including oyster lights, fluorescent tubes, downlights and floodlights with sensors.

At the very least you should replace halogen downlights with LEDs as they use 70 per cent less power.

LED lights are also eco-friendly, with close to zero UV emissions.

Think of the upgrade from conventional to LED lighting as similar to converting from analogue to digital technology.
