Just like the desert, evap air conditioners are pushed to their limits this summer. Long operating hours, sudden shutdowns, dust storms, and extreme heat cause constant expansion and contraction, leading to strain on the system. The Role of the Float Valve

Your float valve automatically regulates water levels, preventing overflows. However, when mud and debris clog the valve, it fails to close properly, causing leaks—or closes too early, restricting water supply. This malfunction leads to inefficient cooling or higher water usage. High and Excessive water bills commonly stem from malfunctioning valves, pumps, pads and pipe connections causing leaks.

What About the Pump?

The pump supplies water to the pads, which then evaporates and draws heat out of the air. However, dust, debris, and stagnant water can create a muddy, slimy mess, leading to the pump failing, becoming blocked, or even malfunctioning. A dirty or failing pump means poor pad cooling performance and warm, unhealthy air.
