I’ve got a tap that’s started dripping a bit. That’s not an urgent job is it?

Can’t I just turn the water off and fix it myself?

Feeling lucky? Repairing or replacing a modern mixer unit isn’t simple, and trying to fix old tap ware can cause further damage to the pipework and systems. Often special tools are required to access drips.

How are dripping taps dangerous?

Unnoticed leaks onto floors are a major slip hazard, plus water will damage any non waterproof surfaces or furnishings. Mould will also take hold on anything that is constantly wet.
