Samsung air conditioners are industry-leading and have been designed with the same passion for innovation and quality that has helped make it one of the world’s top electronics manufacturers.
There are three key components. The outdoor unit contains the Samsung Smart Inverter compressor. This circulates refrigerant to the indoor unit and back again. The unit also contains a heat exchanging coil and a fan to blow air across the coil. The indoor unit is concealed. It also contains a heat exchanging coil that cools the air in your house in cooling mode and warms it in heating mode. A fan blows the conditioned air through ducts installed in your roof space to the outlets in the ceiling of each room. The third important part of the system is the stylish and intuitive controller that allows you to select suitable temperature and fan speeds. Some controller models also include such features as LCD backlighting and time scheduling.
Samsung’s energy-efficient digital inverter technology means the compressor automatically adjusts its speed in response to changes in room temperature and user setting. This optimises power usage, reducing energy consumption and operating costs. By comparison, conventional fixed-speed compressors frequently shut off and switch on during operation, chewing up electricity in the process.
Samsung uses R32 refrigerant across its range of Air Conditioners. This has a low environmental impact. As well, Samsung has developed its systems to operate extremely quietly while circulating a large air-flow that is impossible to achieve with an older system.
Designed to be small and discrete with a minimalist modern style, Samsung’s ducting system has a sophisticated look with features that allow it to fit seamlessly into any home or renovation.
A light, compact design with a quality finish allows easy installation in confined spaces. Most ducted Air Conditioners are installed in a variety of locations, so need to be accessed in different ways for maintenance. Samsung’s products can be accessed from three directions – top, side and below – making it easier to maintain wherever it’s installed.
