SERVICE, QUALITY & HIGH STANDARDS

I’ve been looking at my old garden taps and half them seem to be seized or leaking.

What do you suggest? Many people simply replace them with a cheap equivalent but we recommend the latest water-wise, quarter-turn taps.

Won’t this cost a fair bit? Think first about the costs of wasting water. Leaks from garden taps can go unnoticed for months. A dripping tap can lose the equivalent of a bath filled with water every couple of days.

Don’t all garden taps have a lifespan, regardless of cost? Cheap taps can wear out fairly quickly but we supply and fit the latest water-wise taps that have a ball-valve design. This means they never require a new washer and can last at least 10 years and often over 30. The ball valve is made from polymer, which means it doesn’t have the lime-calcification problems that affect traditional garden taps. It also has a double seal that prevents leaks during long-term use. As well our taps have a one-piece brass body, providing greater strength and eliminating leaks through the main body.
